Nick Yarboro
Dangerous Obsession; Dangerous Heat

DOB 10/29/1968, Scorpio
Tall, and darkly handsome with a lean runner's build; nearly black hair and cold, dark eyes in a matching shade of pitch

Nicholas Alexander Yarboro is a tenured professor of English Literature at Elon University in the sleepy, little town of Elon, North Carolina. To most, this attractive man does not seem very interesting, but that's only on the surface. This brilliant professor has many facts to his personality that only a select few have glimpsed, and that would shock his staid coworkers and intrigue many of his young, female students.

Born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, Nick was a rebellious child. His juvenile records allude to a youthful fascination with fire that he, luckily grew out of, though his run-ins with the law did not stop. This was only the beginning of Nick's troubles. He still has a dark side, which we know all about thanks to Minneapolis ADA, Samantha Slater. As a young man, he developed another fetish that so-called normal people might find a bit odd, or even disturbing, dating back to his days as a young college freshman at UCLA, an almost prehistoric need to control those around him. Dating back twenty years or more, one will find numerous charges, all dismissed, of course, for such things as assault and battery. However, that is only an outsider's view.

You see, outside of his life as a boring English professor, Nick is a sexual Dominant, and a very good one. He has a waiting list numbering in the dozens of up-and-coming Doms who want to learn from him. His converted basement-dungeon could rival even the best medieval "torture" chamber and his collections of leathers, floggers, and other tools of the trade are enough to make even the most seasoned dungeon masters green with envy.

But being the best at what he does has led to major problems that could change his life forever, and not in a good way. Nick is the number one suspect in the biggest murder investigation North Carolina has ever seen. Submissive women have been turning up dead for several years and they're starting to occur more frequently. To make matters worse, clues left at the scenes have led Detective Kevin Slater and forensic psychologist, Jess Mitchell straight to Nick's dungeon.

Is someone using Nick's dark sexual interests to lead investigators down the wrong trail. Or...Is this dull English professor really a cold-blooded killer? Click here to find out.
